Beyond the firm’s core areas, he works across multiple other sectors, including residential, multi-family, food and beverage, entertainment and leisure related businesses.

Drawing on more than 20 years of experience and collaboration across different facets of the real estate industry, Orion has strengths and a proven track record in market intelligence, acquisitions, development, openings, operations, asset management, financial modelling, and capital markets. He has particular expertise in hospitality, residential, and mixed-used sectors, having worked globally on projects ranging in value from $1M to $4B.

Orion was prior a Managing Director at Ankura within the Ankura Real Estate Advisory (AREA) group’s Hospitality & Leisure Team (HLT).  He previously managed hospitality acquisitions for a private investment group where he was responsible for identifying prospective investment targets, underwriting, performing due diligence, modelling, creating presentation materials, and presenting to investors. Earlier in his career, he was a senior financial analyst at a capital-markets advisory firm, a development manager for the hospitality division of a private developer, and an operations analyst to the regional managing director of an upscale hotel brand and management company.
